For some time now I have been modeling and converting figures. I have most spent time converting predominantly warhammer 40,000 figures. I love the Imperial Guard. For the romanticism of basic humans defending the Imperium without genetic modification, and without the coolest technology to help them in their noble task. But I also love the look of them! Imperial Guard by far have more different looks to them than any other army in the warhammer 40,000 universe. You can do anything with these guys! In the past I have created a Valhallan army called the "Arctic Wasps" that was shown in pictures in White Dwarf 221, 223 & 245 and took Best Army Baltimore GT 2000. I have created an WWII Wehrmacht style army with a custom built Hummel (Basilisk), SDKFZ's (Chimeras), and MK IV Panzers (Leman Russ w/o sponsons) which received an honorable mention in 2001. I created a Victorian steam-powered army complete with steam driven tanks, and horse drawn artillery pieces which took Best Army Philadelphia 2003 and 2nd place Player's Choice Philadelphia 2003. Since then I have been working on my true love, the Vostroyan 5th Regiment. I have been working on them as a WWI Russian "white army" that started as a 1750 roster and has been steadily expanding since then.
This blog site is to be a chronicle of that work and other special projects I think you guys should like. I have friends of mine that have been harassing me to post picts of my work and I am finally getting around to it... thanks guys for the kick in the pants.
